Delhi:no matter how modern the city is the charm of the ancient architecture still remains
To My Followers…
Its been a few years…my roomie first introduced me to tumblr..u may say “blogging” in a wider prespective. It had just been days since I bought my first DSLR and wanted a platform to showcase my learning with others…since then i started posting pictures/photos/shots whatever you call randomly….It had no theme,no title, no caption, no story.I started with flowers and gradually moved to rivers, lakes, sunsets people and streets…i just went capturing whatever i felt like n posted here..what i call my blog…a few likes here and there mostly from my roomie :p and a few comments were good enough to make my day…..
Years have gone..i have moved my base from the City of Joy to the Capital city.Since i moved have not been able to go out on shoots…not by choice but by circumstances.Though technically I havn’t improved my skills in photography i feel i am in a much better position right now…my prespective on photography has changed…whatever i captured before had colours but no life….what i mean to say is from now on you will find stories/themes/captions on the shots that i take. i am excited. I hope to capture some of the best shots in the capital city and present you will all the information that i can get on the subject….thank you all my followers for following me all these years
India Gate at New Delhi, the capital city of India…This structure is dedicated to all the soldiers who gave their life for the country in different parts of the world..the interesting feature is that you find the names of all the soldiers inscripted on the walls of the gate……the three flags that you see here is of the three wings of the Indian Armed Forces…the Army, the Navy and the the Air Force….my new journey in the Capital City begins from here…..
